The current was achieved in the first imperial age, an era which date from the Palestra Grande and public buildings on the east side of the Forum. The latter, surrounded by a portico Image and dominated from the temple of Jupiter, is the heart of the city, its political, administrative and commercial matters. At the Forum opposed the district theaters, beating heart of cultural activities and religious pompeiane, made in the second century BC The activities "games" were placed in large part on the far outskirts where you can visit the Amphitheatre and the Palestra Grande.
